Internet Marketing Resources You Need

If you haven't alredy got an alternative that you are happy with then you should download and install the following programs: -

1. Free zip or "file compression tool" to "unzip" files that are zipped up:

2. Free HTML Editer program for editing and creating webpages:

3. Free FTP (aka "file transfer protocol") program for uploading files to your website:

4. Free PDF reading software:

5. Free "open source" office suite, including wordprocessor and spreadsheet program, as well as a pdf creator:

6. Register a domain - you will need your own domain name for any website project you are going to do.

You can either try and grab your own name (good for branding purposes) or go for a keyword based domain.

Try to stick with .com's where possible, although .org's can be very effective for information based sites, especially blogs.

Steer clear of cheap .info offers, they tend to be used by spammers so are not a good choice for a domain name.

7. For website hosting there are several hosts that I use and can recommend, so have a look at those listed below and see which best suits your needs/budget.

8. You should also get yourself an "AutoResponder" set up as soon as you can!

The most important thing you can do for your online business is to start building an optin subscriber newsletter, and to manage your new "list" of subscribers you need a decent autoresponder service.

There are two that I recommend, one is pretty much the industry standard used by most internet marketers, but it's not cheap if you're starting on a budget, the other has a more newbie friendly price and is designed to make it easy to get up and running, although it still has all the important features that you need from and autoresponder, so I'll leave it up to you to choose which suits you: -

AutoResponderFreeTrial (Free)
